I’m a writer and poet from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I’m the author of four novels: award-winning ghost fiction book, The Blue Man (2022); The Fairy Lights (ghost fiction, 2022); The Buddha’s Bone (psychological literary fiction, 2021) and Gods of Avalon Road (occult fiction, 2019). I also have two currently published poetry collections: A Model Archaeologist (2022) and The Redundancy of Tautology (2021). My most recently published book is my short story collection, Diabolical Dreamscapes (metaphysical fiction, 2023).
In addition to writing and promoting my own work, I run Bindweed Magazine, a creative writing literary journal, with my writer husband, Joseph Robert. Aside from publishing pursuits, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our lively literary lad, a voracious reader of sea monster books.

I began writing for publication while working as an English teacher in Japan, a career pathway that has influenced themes in my writing.
My former career as an Archaeologist has also inspired my writing and I have incorporated elements of archaeology and mythology into both my fiction and poetry.

Aside from literary pursuits…
Some of my blog posts focus on health-related topics. Back in 2020, I lost 3 stone/42 lbs/18 kgs by doing the keto diet. I also discuss my sugar addiction and disordered eating in other posts, that may be interesting or informative to some readers who don’t necessarily follow my writing.
