What’s in the Boxing Day bag? Love you to Death ARCs
What does an author want for Yuletide? Why, book bloggers, of course.
ARCs for book bloggers(like my silly yuletide hat?)
Since Love you to Death is due for release on 1st February 2025, I ordered these ARCs before Christmas in order to give my reviewers plenty of time to read and post on Goodreads and online retailer websites. With any new release, I like to have at least 5 reviews ready to go within the first couple of weeks, as I find it boosts sales. Most of my sales are in the UK, but I do like to get reviews posted in the US too as it boosts sales for readers across the pond.
For my reviewers in the UK, I tend to post paperback copies. As a reader myself, I prefer physical books, so I always sign the copies that I post to book bloggers with a personal dedication. For reviewers further afield it’s neither practical nor economical to send postal copies, so I email an epub or PDF copy instead.
Here’s a fun little Boxing Day promo that I did, just for the heck of it. Enjoy!
Leilanie Stewart is an award-winning author and poet from Belfast, Northern Ireland. She writes ghost and psychological horror, as well as experimental poetry. Her writing confronts the nature of self; her novels feature main characters on a dark psychological journey who have a crisis and create a new sense of identity. She began writing for publication while working as an English teacher in Japan, a career pathway that has influenced themes in her writing. Her former career as an Archaeologist has also inspired her writing and she has incorporated elements of archaeology and mythology into both her fiction and poetry.
In addition to promoting her own work, Leilanie runs Bindweed Anthologies, a creative writing publication with her writer husband, Joseph Robert. Aside from publishing pursuits, Leilanie enjoys spending time with her husband and their lively literary lad, a voracious reader of sea monster books.
