With my newly published pamphlet, A Model Archaeologist, on 5 June 2015

On Friday I ventured into central London to collect my newly published pamphlet, A Model Archaeologist from my publisher, Eyewear. It was such an exciting feeling to finally read my collection in print…and surprise my lovely poet hubby, Joseph Robert, with a dedication inside!

I will certainly be celebrating at literary events over the summer. Join me for the first launch of many on Tuesday 9th June from 5.30pm onwards at the Hammersmith and Fulham Arts Festival.

(Author note: As of 16th August 2022, the full 80 poem version of A Model Archaeologist is available from Amazon US, Amazon UK and Waterstones.)

About Leilanie Stewart

Leilanie Stewart is an author and poet from Belfast, Northern Ireland. She has written four novels, including award-winning ghost horror, The Blue Man, as well as three poetry collections. Her writing confronts the nature of self; her novels feature main characters on a dark psychological journey who have a crisis of identity and create a new sense of being. She began writing for publication while working as an English teacher in Japan, a career pathway that has influenced themes in her writing. Her former career as an Archaeologist has also inspired her writing and she has incorporated elements of archaeology and mythology into both her fiction and poetry. In addition to promoting her own work, Leilanie runs Bindweed Magazine, a creative writing literary journal with her writer husband, Joseph Robert. Aside from publishing pursuits, Leilanie enjoys spending time with her husband and their lively literary lad, a voracious reader of sea monster books. Congratulations! I’m super proud of you! I always knew you had “The Gift” ;and now, it is a matter of you developing, living, showing all how beautiful the world is and can be when written about as you write it yourself.
