I received a much needed pick-me-up today – an email from a publisher requesting the full manuscript for my recently finished literary novel. It has been doing the submission rounds since Friday 13th November (lucky for some) to both publishers and agents. I’ve had a tough start to December, mainly as I have had flu (though thankfully a negative covid 19 test result) and so this lovely news was very welcome.

I haven’t posted in a while – in fact, not since Halloween – though I’ve been a busy bee behind the scenes. I’m writing a new novel, this time a psychological horror/thriller, which for the present time will be referred to as novel WIP 4. I started it on 3rd November and I’ve already written 16,000 words. Not bad going considering I also have a full time day job and I’m a full time mum!
